Acceptable Use Policy

Inkwell is for honest paperwork. This page describes what isn't allowed, so the service stays safe and trustworthy for everyone.

Last updated 8 October 2026

1. Be honest

  • Don't forge signatures, impersonate someone, or sign for another person without their permission.
  • Don't use a fake identity or an email address you don't control to send or sign documents.
  • Don't use Inkwell to deceive people about what they are agreeing to — for example, by hiding terms or presenting a different document than the one that will be signed.

3. Protect the service

  • Don't try to access accounts, documents or data that aren't yours, or to bypass access codes, limits or security checks.
  • Don't probe, scan or test the service for vulnerabilities without our written permission — but please report problems you find (see our Security page).
  • Don't overload the service, scrape it, or use bots to create accounts or send mass unsolicited requests.
  • Don't upload malware or files designed to harm devices.

4. No spam

Only invite people to sign or review documents they would reasonably expect to receive. Don't use Inkwell to send unsolicited bulk messages or advertising.

5. What happens if rules are broken

We may remove content, cancel signature requests, suspend or close accounts, and report illegal activity to the authorities. Where it's safe and reasonable, we'll warn you first. Serious or repeated breaches can lead to immediate closure without refund.

If you see something that breaks these rules, tell us at Inkwell <[email protected]>.
