Cookie Policy

Short version: we keep you signed in, and that's about it. No ad trackers.

1. What these technologies are

Cookies and similar technologies (like your browser's local storage) are small pieces of data a website saves on your device so it can remember things between visits.

2. What Inkwell uses

  • Sign-in session (local storage): keeps you signed in after you enter your email code. Strictly necessary — without it you could not use your account.
  • Preferences (local storage): small things like remembering your browser has installed the app, so it works offline.
  • App files cache (service worker): stores Inkwell's own interface files so the app loads faster and keeps working on a weak connection. It never stores your documents.

These are essential to how Inkwell works, so we don't ask for consent to use them.

3. What we don't use

We don't use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics that profile you. If we add analytics in future we will update this page and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

4. Payments

When you pay, you are taken to Paystack's secure checkout. Paystack may set its own cookies on its pages; see Paystack's policies for details.

5. Your choices

You can clear local storage and site data in your browser settings at any time. Doing so signs you out. Blocking essential storage entirely will stop Inkwell from keeping you signed in.
